The Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation acknowledges Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders both past and present.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander viewers are advised that this site may contain images, voices and video of those who have returned to Dreaming.

We celebrate the lands and waters that give us life; into which stories, songs, ancestors and dreamings of First Nations
peoples are woven. We pay our respects to all First Nations people, past and present, for their generosity and custodianship
of Country.

We extend our deepest appreciation to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, on whose land Message Stick was developed.

Message Stick is the result of countless hours of hard work, collaboration, and innovation by ACCHO organisations across Victoria, which without their wisdom and knowledge would not have been possible.

As we embrace Message Stick and all the opportunities it presents, we acknowledge the responsibility to create a culturally safe and vibrant digital community, one that fosters connection between groups and individuals, and honours the values, culture, and heritage of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
